Butterflies & Skippers of Ottawa County

As I have ventured into setting aside landscape for the benefit of native insects, I wanted to know what species were specific for my county so that I could assess and provide more for them while also seeking to document any species not included in this 1992 survey, especially since it was conducted 30+ years ago.

The Biological Survey is available at the Oak Harbor Public Library, or you can purchase it directly from them HERE

If I find a more recent study for butterfly/skipper species per Ohio county, I will update the list, or if you have information, please email me!

I will document butterfly and skipper species spotted.
